It was an unforgettable two full days. Originally planned as a three-day trip, one day had to be erased due to heavy snow and the unprecedented chaos at the airport. Until the moment our plane finally took off at 1am on the following day, we almost lost hope of making this trip.
Unbelievably, we didn’t arrive at the hotel until 5 a.m. on the morning of the second day. After just a few hours of rest, however, the remaining two days turned into truly magical moments. There was no single difficulty to deal with, during our stay. Especially we were blessed with clear skies and beautiful weather throughout our stay, which made the experience even more memorable.
The tours at SFT, PolyU, and the workshops at AiDLab and Redress were invaluable experiences for our students. Even simple moments, like a cup of milk tea, brought them immense joy. Walking along the harbor, gazing at the dazzling night view of Hong Kong Island, and spending time by the Harbour were dreams come true for them (Reading their reflection reports about this trip was incredibly touching!!)
Last but not least, I am deeply grateful to Joanne Yip, Magnum Lam, and Kim Wong for organizing such enriching and eye-opening tours and workshops. Thank you, my cherished former colleagues!! How could I not love the wonderful city of Hong Kong?
