Yongim & Eunji’s HK Conference Journey 🇭🇰

지난 11월 26일부터 30일까지 홍콩이공대학(PolyU)에서 열린 패션 컨퍼런스에 용임이와 은지가 다녀왔습니다.

From November 26 to 30, Yongim and Eunji attended the Fashion Conference held at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU).

 

디자인대학 학장님을 만나뵙고, 현 시대의 연구에서 새로운 기술을 어떻게 받아들이고 활용해야 하는지에 대해 의미 있는 말씀을 들었습니다.

We had the opportunity to meet the Dean of the School of Design, who shared valuable insights on how researchers today should embrace and integrate emerging technologies into their work.

 

이어서는 폴리유 패션대학의 캠퍼스를 둘러보며 다양한 시설을 구경하고 설명을 들었습니다. 또한 염색 워크숍에 참여해 타이다이를 직접 체험해보는 시간도 가졌습니다.

We then toured the PolyU School of Fashion and explored various facilities while learning about their programs. We also joined a dyeing workshop, where we had the chance to experience tie-dyeing firsthand.

 

이번 행사의 메인 이벤트였던 패션쇼에는 전통 복장을 입고 참석해, 디자인 연구실 친구들의 작품을 관람하고 응원하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 오랜만에 한복도 입어보고, 여러 나라에서 온 친구들과 사진을 찍으며 잊지 못할 경험을 할 수 있었습니다! 😊

For the main event of the conference—a fashion show—we attended in traditional attire and enjoyed watching and supporting the work of our friends from the design lab. It was a memorable experience, as we wore hanbok for the first time in a while and took photos with friends from different countries. 😊

 

K11을 비롯한 홍콩의 다양한 쇼핑 공간에서 창의적인 디자인과 브랜드 경험을 느끼며 소비자 경험과 디자인 연구에 대한 새로운 인사이트도 떠올려 볼 수 있었습니다.

Experiencing the creative design and brand atmosphere across Hong Kong’s retail spaces, including K11, gave us fresh insights into consumer experience and design research.

 

M+ 뮤지엄을 방문해 감도 높은 전시를 관람하며 영감을 얻는 시간도 가졌습니다.

We also visited the M+ Museum, where we enjoyed highly curated exhibitions that offered plenty of inspiration.

 

무엇보다도 미식의 도시 홍콩에서 맛있는 음식들을 다양하게 맛볼 수 있었던 것이 최고의 경험이었습니다. 💞

Above all, one of the best parts of the trip was enjoying a wide variety of incredible food in Hong Kong, a true paradise for food lovers.💞
