April 9, 2026 — A special lecture titled <Beyond Wealth: What the Next Generation of UHNWIs will Truly Value> was held as part of the Global Scholar Lecture Series hosted by the Department of Clothing & Textiles at Hanyang University. Professor Philipp Klaus is currently a professor at the International University of Monaco, recognized among the world’s top 2% scientists, and a co-founder of Lexden Luxe. In this lecture, we gained valuable insights into how the values of Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals (UHNWIs) are shifting from visible wealth to invisible value. In particular, it was meaningful to understand that customer experience, emotional value, sustainability, and personalized services are becoming key elements in the future of the luxury industry. This special lecture provided students with an opportunity to go beyond theory and understand real-world strategies and mindsets applied in the global luxury market, offering meaningful direction for future fashion brand planning and marketing strategies.
